OPPO unveiled the new OPPO Reno 8 series in china

OPPO officially unpacked it’s New OPPO reno 8 series in china. the company showcased only three smartphone from reno 8 series, Reno 8 with dimensity chipset, the 8 Pro pioneers the newly snapdragon 7 gen 1 and the 8 pro+ gets dimensity 8100-Max power.

These three smartphone comes with slightly similar specifications in Display and camera department. these smartphone feature same AMOLED panels with 90Hz refresh rate for reno 8, but gets 120Hz in reno 8 pro and reno 8 pro+. 50MP main camera, 4,500mAh bettreies with 80W wired SuperVOOC charging in all three smartphones.

Reno 8

the Reno 8 is the most affordable smartphone in Reno 8 series. the smartphone measures 6.43-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh. it’s has 50MP main camera supporting with 2MP Monochrome lens and 2MP macro camera.

the device draw it’s power from MediaTek Dimensity 1300 and has 4,500mAh battery capacity for that the device has 80W SuperVOOC out of the box which can charge your phone 1-100% in 30 minutes (advertisement).

Reno 8 Pro

The middle device from the series, Reno 8 Pro become the first smartphone in the world debut’s with Qualcomm’s brand new 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The 8 pro measures 6.62-inch AMOLED Panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

on back the 8 pro gets triple camera setup, 50MP main is Sony IMX766 sensor, partned with 8MP Ultrawide shooter and 2MP Macro cams, the smartphone has 32MP selfie cam housed inside the l punch-hole cutout on front. The rest of the specifications include 4,500mAh battery capacity with 80W SuperVOOC charging.

Reno 8 Pro+

The reno 8 series top-dog phone reno 8 pro+ gets it’s power from Dimensity 8100-Max in relm. the smartphone has 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor, while the second came is 8MP Ultrawide Shooter and third is 2MP macro camera and houses 32MP selfie camera on top center in punch-hole cutout.

the reno 8 pro+ measures 6.7-inch OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and corning gorilla glass 5 protection. While the other specifications include 4,500mAh batter capacity and 80W SuperVOOC charge, the  Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.

OPPO Reno 8 Series Price and Availability

Starting with the affordable reno 8 the device launched with dual variant starting with CNY 2,499 (approximately $370.00) for 8GB / 128GB and CNY 2,999 (approximately $450.99) for 12GB / 256GB model.

the series middle man Reno 8 Pro gets three variant starting with CNY 2,999 (approximately $450.99) and 8GB / 256GB CNY  3,199 (approximately $480) and 12GB / 256GB CNY 3,499 (approximately $525).

The series top-dog reno 8 pro plus is available in dual RAM / ROM variant starting with CNY 3,699 (approximately $556) for 8GB / 256GB and while the other 12GB / 256GB cost CNY 3,999 (approximately $599).

The Reno 8 series will go on open sale in June 1st in china. While there as no confirmation about the global launch but it’s sources hinted that Reno 8 series is expected to launch globally in starting week of July.
